We live in a world that is filled with confusion. It's hard to know what is true and what is not. Today, there is so much media bias and political slant that it is hard to know much with certainty. The good news is we have a God we can trust and a Bible that is true from cover to cover. Our world is in fear and chaos, but we can know for sure where we are going when this life is over.
ARE YOU 100% SURE YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN?
Do you know your sins are forgiven and Jesus Christ is your Saviour? You can be!
Here are some simple things that will help you know for sure that you are going to Heaven.
RECOGNIZE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
We cannot get to Heaven by our good works. No amount of good deeds will outweigh our bad deeds. We all fall short of God's perfect standard. We are all sinners...even you.
UNDERSTAND YOUR SIN HAS A PENALTY.
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
All men die physically, but all men do not have to die and go to Hell. You can be born again through Jesus Christ and be saved from the penalty of sin, which is eternal Hell, a place of “fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8).
BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SIN.
Romans 5:8 says “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Jesus Christ paid the full price on the cross for our sins. In order for our sins to be forgiven, there must have been a perfect, sinless sacrifice. God was willing to pay that great price by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth .
Jesus came from heaven, lived a sinless life, and then died for the sins of the whole world. After his death, He rose from the dead, and is able to save all who will put their trust in Him.
Romans 6:23 says "the gift of God is eternal life.”
God offers you His free gift of eternal life. This gift is yours by turning your dependance from self and putting your trust in Jesus for salvation.
TRUST JESUS TO SAVE YOU.
Why not receive this gift of eternal life and a home in heaven by asking Him to save you? Believing Jesus will save you, please pray something like this from your heart:
"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve to die and go to Hell because of my sins, but I believe you died on the cross to take my place. I believe you rose again, and can save me forever. Please forgive my sins and save my soul. I accept your gift of salvation and trust you now. Thank you for saving me. Amen."
